How to Install VCOM Drivers On You PC

In this tutorial, I'll be guiding  you through the process on how to install MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers on Windows vista, windows 7, windows 8, windows 8.1 and windows 10.

10 Quick Steps To Install MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers on Windows PC

1. Download MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers Here, and extract the folder to your desktop screen or menu.
2. Goto “Control Panel” and search for “Device manager”. 
3. After that, click on any driver group, then click on Action >> Add legacy hardware.
   
4. Pop-up showing “Welcome to the Hardware wizard” displays, click Next
   
5. Another interface of the wizard screen comes, and then selects second option to install hardware manually.
   
6. When you get to another screen as seen in the image below, Click Next.
   
7. Once you get to the next screen, click on Have Disk.
   
8. After that, install from disk, simply browse and locate the folder you extracted in step 1, and open the Drivers >> USB VCOM driver >> then select your operating system. If your operating system is 64bit, select the .inf file for 64bit, same applies to 32bit. Also select .inf file of windows 7 if you’re using windows 8, windows 8.1 or windows 10.
   
9. Now, getting to the next screen, select “MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM Port” and click Next and getting to another screen, click Next. 
   
10. The installation process will take few seconds, and after installation click Finish.

How to Install TWRP Recovery and Rooot Infinix Hot 4 X557

• Save the SuperSU 2.76.zip that you downloaded to your phone's SD card» Unzip the TWRP zip file that you downloaded and flash the recovery image to the phone using SP Flash Tool
• Now, boot your phone into TWRP Recovery Mode (by Holding the Vol Up and Power button simultaneously for 5 seconds)
• In TWRP, if you get a prompt asking you to swipe to allow modification of the System partition, tap Keep Read Only

• If TWRP offers to root the phone, select NO
• In TWRP recovery, tap Install
• Navigate to the location of the SuperSU 2.76.zipand select it
• Swipe to confirm flashing of SuperSU.zip and wait till flashing is complete
• After a successful flashing go back and reboot.

It is simple as that. You can download Root Checker from Play Store to verify your root privileges.

After downloading, simply Install Root Checker, run it and you should get a success message immediately!!

Step 2. Now, follow this path – system -> bin.
Step 3. Now, Find two files – su and busybox, Simply delete both of them.
Step 4. Now, Click back button and find app folder.

Step 6. Now, Restart your android phone and your phone must be unrooted now

How to Install TWRP Recovery on Tecno Camon C8

Step 1: First download the recovery zip file from here, and then extract the “Recovery.img” and “MT6735_Android_Scatter.txt” file to the desktop.

Step 2: Make sure Vcom Drivers are installed on your PC .

Step 3: Now, power off your device, and remove i.e for other Device but since the phone we are rooting is Tecno C8 you just have to off the Phone.

Step 4: Open the Downloaded SP Flash tool, and extract the files to your computer. You should get the following files as seen below, after extraction.

Step 5: From the extracted files, open Flash_tool.exe

Step 6: Once the flash tool is launched, then click on the download/upgrade tab and click on scatter loading button

Step 7: Now, locate the “MT6735_Android_Scatter.txt” file, which is on your desktop.

Step 8: After that, click download to begin flashing process.

Step 9: Immediately, connect your device to your computer via USB cable, and press Volume Down or up key, so it would be detected easily by your computer.

Step 10: The Flashing process would be in progress, and a Green button would appear once the process is completed.

Now that TWRP Recovery is installed on your device, next is rooting your device. Simply couple your device back and power it on.

How to Root Tecno Camon C8

1.       Move your already Downloaded SuperSU to the internal memory of your device. Then Power off

2.       Now, boot your Tecno Camon device to recovery mode. Simply press and hold Volume Down and Power buttons.

3.       After that, from recovery menu, click on install and locate the SuperSU zipped file you transferred to the internal memory of your device, and then install it.

4.       Once you’ve successfully flashed both files, then go back to recovery menu and reboot your device.
